My boys are at the age where they want expensive electronics, so it’s nice to find a few inexpensive gifts to open and enjoy before we get to the big presents. I have been so inspired by you in the past and I will never let that go! However, I find your post becoming more egocentric and/or commercial everyday, and that I do NOT find inspiring. In a world where commercials are shoved in our faces on a daily basis, I never thought a blog that I went to for inspiration would become, well, a commercial. In this post, I’m going to share some holiday gift ideas from a few different categories, since you can get just about anything from Walmart! Walmart is having Black Friday Deals for Days and has already released a variety of gift guides for tech, home, fashion, beauty, toys, and more. Here are some of my picks from things I purchased from their gift guides or giftable things I’ve owned and loved for years.

I used the same paint and yard to embellish a simple package wrapped in brown paper. I painted on some trees and snow in a simple, quick scene and then tied a bottle brush tree on top to add some dimension. As I was making it, I wasn’t sure how it would turn out, but I think it’s so sweet and fun. This ended up being one of my favorite ideas because it turned out so pretty! I wasn’t even very neat or careful with it, but you could certainly measure things out and get more precise and elaborate with your design. While browsing the holiday section at Walmart, I spotted this pretty glittery gold wreath ornament and I thought it would make a pretty present topper.
